(Almost) 15 Weeks!

One of the coolest things ever? Listening to my baby's heartbeat every night before I go to bed.

How far along?
Almost 15 weeks

Baby's Size?
The size of a navel orange!

Boy or Girl?
Still a mystery! Mommy has decided she has no idea- one day I think boy, the next I think girl. We're ready to find out!

Fun Facts About Baby?
The baby will start sensing light in sunny Cancun and start hearing sounds while I'm at the beach in NJ!

(baby facts taken from a website)  "She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl!"

How is Mommy Doing?
  • Symptoms?   Feeling good!
  • Mood?  Honestly, there may have been a few days that I probably could have won an academy award for being emotional. I can cry over the dumbest things and get moody.
  • Cravings?  Nope. Still waiting on those weird cravings.
  • Dreams? Dreams about old friends. Also, had a dream I was in search for a Snickers and went to a baseball game to get one. (Which is weird because I haven't even had a Snickers since before I was pregnant.)
  • Body Differences? Yep, there's a bump.

How is Daddy Doing?  He's finished with his first year of medical school! Whew, we made it!

How's the Nursery?  Just a few more weeks and we'll start to get busy on it!

We're Looking Forward To:  MEXICO! And then I get to go to NJ to visit my Grandmom and spend a week at the beach!
