I know I say it every month, but time is flying by. Every day I try to take a minute or two and hug you a little longer and tighter and remind myself that at any given moment, you're as young and little as you'll ever be. You grow so fast and as much as I love watching you explore and discover the world around you, sometimes it makes me sad how fast it goes by. You are such a smart, funny, loud and happy boy. You truly are the best thing that has ever happened to me.
- You roll all around in your sleep. You roll on your belly and put your face down, then I come and roll you back over onto your back--- we could go back and forth all night!
- You have the best belly laugh when you're being tickled.
- You love Molly and will reach for her and sometimes pull her hair. She is so great with you and most of the time just lays still and lets you play with her. She likes licking your hands and you try to grab her tongue. (Then mommy hastily comes over with a wipe to clean your hands!)
- You like FaceTime and laugh when you see Grandmom.
- Toys that used to dangle in front of you (like the ones on the mamaroo and the play mat) are now fair game for grabbing and don't stay in one place long.
- Most of the time, your fingers are in your mouth... and if they're not, something else is.
- We go on walks and you laugh at the wind in your face.
- You found your shadow and will move your hands and fingers and watch the shadow do the same.
- You've learned how to use your voice to make a loud grunting noise. I'm a little paranoid when we're out in public; I'm sure people think you're trying to poop.
- You scoot and turn in circles. So between the scooting and rolling, you're starting to move around on the floor a lot more.
- You have now eaten rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, and sweet potatoes. You seemed to really like the sweet potatoes! You did so well with the spoon and swallowing!
- It looks like you might've inherited Mommy's sensitive skin. You got a rash for the first time... we're not sure if it was an allergy or irritation. Thankfully it only lasted a couple days and it was something that cortisone was able to help clear up.
- We spend our days laughing and keeping ourselves busy. You like walks, dancing around to music with me, helping me do housework (I wear you around sometimes), watching Sesame Street, reading books, and playing on the floor with your toys. You're the happiest when somebody is right there to play with you and give you attention.
