SIX Months! {HALF A YEAR ALREADY?!}

Happy Half Birthday!

This past month has been a month full of "you and me" time, and some time in Tulsa with family. It's been a pretty lazy month. Daddy is studying about 10-14 hours, 7 days a week, to prepare for his medical board exam. I've never seen anyone work so hard and be so dedicated to something. He's so smart. I know he'll do great. He's working so hard for us and someday we'll be able to enjoy so many things together due to the sacrifices we're all making now. Someday.... someday.

You are officially crawling! You can sit up on your own and crawl. Our house is not baby-proofed yet! I foresee some changes/modifications coming to the home soon.

You are starting to recognize people a lot more. You get excited when we go up to the city to have dinner with Daddy. You also seem to recognize and be happy when we get to Grandmom and Grandpop's house. Speaking of Grandmom, she has been a huge help since Dad has been studying so much. She came to Norman to keep us company, help around the house a little bit and go with us to your 6 month check up.

You like your feet. Sometimes you even suck your toes. Haha! You love peek-a-boo, splashing in the bath, pulling my hair and giving big, wet kisses. You like making silly noises (like when we put our finger up to your mouth and move it back and forth or pat your mouth really fast) and you've have started this new funny thing where you are scrunching up your face and making sniffy-noises as your breathe out of your nose. You have such a curious nature about you. You are so observant when we are out in public, you laugh, stare and "talk" to people and now that you're sitting up in the shopping carts.... you are QUITE the attention getter. Oh my goodness, people are always stopping and commenting on how cute you are. :) I'm pretty biased, but I have to agree!

Some days I look at you and I see more of a little boy rather than my little baby. I love you so so so so very much. You really are a dream come true. You make every day a happy day. Thank you for all the cuddles, smiles, and laughs. You have no idea how much you've changed me.
