ONE AND A HALF (almost)

Who is that boy in my baby's crib?? He has grown quite attached to his Sophie (giraffe) and the monkey lately. Tonight the alien was an added friend that had to come along. E insisted that I rock all 4 of them together and give them each good night kisses. Being a mom is the best thing in the world. Before going to bed I checked on them and I found myself in awe. In awe of how fast time flies. In awe of how my heart could explode with all the love it holds. And, even in awe of how his feet look like boy feet and not chubby little baby feet anymore. I love watching him grow but some days I ache for time to slow down just a little. He's almost 1 and a half years old and I have no idea how we got here so fast, but it's been the best and happiest adventure.
