"The days are long but the years are short" is one of my favorite phrases as I walk through certain seasons. In a blink of an eye, this week, month, and year will eventually be memories..... But some days, some days are just really long.
Being a mom is amazing, but sometimes you are exhausted, greasy-haired, and need some quiet.
Being a medical student wife is amazing, but sometimes the days are extremely long, lonely, and you feel like you are running a one man show at home.
Having dogs is amazing, but sometimes you have to make the hardest, but best, decision for your family that it's time they go to a different home.
Today was all of that... and I'm so glad tomorrow is a new day.
