We left our house thinking we were going on a little vacation to Nashville before Christmas and came back to a disaster. Everything had to be packed up in a hurry. Boxes had random things packed together. Things were packed dusty. Christmas decorations and normal things were packed together. What a mess!
In a way, I'm kind of sad. It's so different now. Don't get me wrong, I love it and it's improved and a lot better... but it's just so different. And I know, chances are, we're going to have to put it on the market in a couple months (so we're not unpacking everything) and all of this will make it feel nice and new, I guess everything just happened so fast and without us here that I felt like a little piece of me misses it. If we don't put things back on the walls, that means I'll never see Elliott's nursery like it was. It's kind of like the beginning of the last days of our lives in this house.
Oh, well, onward and upward. I wish we would've had all of this done a lot sooner so we could enjoy it more! If we do sell it, I hope the next people who buy it will love it and appreciate it as much as we have over the years.
Now for all the boxes to unpack.....
