Sunshine with Big Brother

Mommy and Daddy got time this afternoon to enjoy some sunshine and playtime with Elliott-- what a beautiful day!!! I think we all needed it. The last couple of months have been a whirlwind of crazy routines (not sure we even know what that word "routine" means any more) and lots of changes. I couldn't be more proud of how this little guy is doing with all of it. Sure, he's 2 and has his moments, but he's so happy and silly and, no matter what, can find a way to make me laugh and appreciate so many small things. In the last couple of weeks I've not only really missed being away from him so much but I've also realized that he truly is growing into a big boy and isn't my baby anymore... but every single day, I love him even more and find myself so amazed as I watch him grow.

I'm so thankful for this time today. I hope he always knows how much we love him.
